Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate recording of entry level journal entries in accordance with the corporate closing schedule.
- Research and document retrieval to support Senior Staff
- Timely and accurate preparation of entry level assigned balance sheet reconciliations.
- Timely research of reconciling items with exceptions reported to Senior Staff for review and
- Carry out any reasonable request by management that employee can perform
- Must have an associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting strongly preferred)
- or a minimum of five years’ experience in a month end close general ledger environment
- Ability to work overtime to assist Financial reporting department deadlines
- Entry level knowledge of various accounting software
- Entry level Excel, Word, Outlook
- Organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills written and oral
- Ability to work independently and in a group environment (team player)
- Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures in English
- Ability to write procedure manuals
