Starting pay at $16.00 per hour. But wait, it gets better! How about the chance to make up to $18.50 per hour based on your weekly inspections? That's right, your eye for detail and cleaning skills could take your earnings to the next level! Westgate's Zero Critical Defects Incentive Program is designed to enhance the quality of our guest rooms and improve our work environment with a financial gain for the housekeeping Team Members. The program focuses on:

  • Delivering rooms free of critical defects

  • Rewarding housekeepers and inspectors for achieving a common goal

  • Improving the overall quality of the work environment and the end-result product


Housekeeper at Westgate

Housekeepers

Housekeepers must achieve zero critical defects on inspections to be eligible for bonuses. Weekly bonuses are available up to $100 paid out bi-weekly. Requirements for Housekeepers in this program include: 

  • Complete 60 credits in the pay period.

  • Achieve 100% compliance with critical items.

  • Scores on other inspection items:

    • 95% and above: 100% of bonus

    • 92%-94.9%: 75% of bonus

    • 90%-91.9%: 50% of bonus

    • Below 90%: 0% of bonus

Housekeeping Supervisors

Housekeeping Supervisors will oversee 36 credits per day or 180 credits per week and ensure that all critical items are addressed. They also perform spot inspections and oversee room quality. This job includes bonuses up to $100 paid out weekly. Requirements for Housekeeping Supervisors in this program include: 

  • Complete 180 credits in the week

  • Conduct daily inspections of each room.

  • Achieve 100% compliance with critical items.

  • Scores on other inspection items:

    • 95% and above: 100% of bonus

    • 92%-94.9%: 75% of bonus

    • 90%-91.9%: 50% of bonus

    • Below 90%: 0% of bonus

Housekeeping Managers

Housekeeping Managers at Westgate are responsible for providing the right tools, training, and support. They are involved in:

  • Performing room inspections.

  • Cultivating a standard of service

  • Ensuring adherence to critical item lists.

  • Spot-checking and verifying performing thorough inspections.
