Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities

Aside from embodying our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic, you can expect the following duties:

• Greet everyone with a friendly disposition during your shifts and while on the property.
• Handle assigned rooms in a timely and organized manner, making sure to regularly check and maintain cleaning equipment while using the correct chemicals.
• Report any damage to your Team Leader while ensuring everything on the premises is clean and well-maintained.
• Respect guest privacy and maintain their confidentiality at all times while adhering to resort standards and procedures.

Housekeeping & Houseperson Runner

When you step into a Housekeeping or Houseperson Runner position at Westgate Resorts, you’re a critical team member from day one.

You’ll be a pro when it comes to attention to detail and customer service, and you can expect the following responsibilities:

• Support our Housekeepers by delivering supplies, removing trash, and cleaning common areas.
• Deliver the requested items to guests promptly and efficiently in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Stock linen closets and other storage areas while walking the property daily to make sure everything looks clean and welcoming.
• Report any maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Housekeeping Supervisor

• Ensuring that our guests experience the highest standards during their stay.
• Supervising and motivating housekeeping teams.
• Assigning duties to staff and examining their work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance.
• Communicating with guests and employees verbally and in writing.
• Inspecting and preparing clean units before turning them over to guests. Assisting in the training and development of both existing and new staff members.

Housekeeping Manager

If you’ve already got a background in Housekeeping then a housekeeping manager role might be perfect for you. You’ll get to lead daily housekeeping operations while motivating and managing your team.
