VI Resorts by Westgate, a leader in the timeshare industry, is looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. As the Sr. Accountant, you will serve as a key member of the accounting team, performing a variety of tasks and projects. The accounting staff regularly interacts with resort managers, vendors, sales staff, the management team, and various corporate departments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries and financial analysis
• Prepare various budgets with variance analysis
• Cash projections for multiple accounts
• Multiple currency transactions
• Bank/month-end reconciliations for multiple locations
• HOA Accounting
• Other duties may be assigned

Education and Experience:

• AA in Accounting, and/or 5+ years of accounting experience
• Great Plains a plus
• A/R and A/P experience required

Knowledge, skills, abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High attention to detail
• Ability to complete complex assignments independently
• Ability to manage time and prioritize competing deadlines
• Reliable and trustworthy
• A positive “can-do” attitude and ability to be a team player.
