Join the Westgate Resorts team as an Asset Recovery Team Member, where your communication and negotiation skills play a critical role in helping owners avoid foreclosure and recover their ownership. This phone-based role involves direct engagement with Westgate Owners to recover past-due balances, offer tailored solutions, and present alternatives such as Warranty Deeds. You'll contribute to revenue growth by applying sales strategies and maintaining a high level of customer service.
In this role, you'll:
Engage with owners via phone, understanding individual situations and providing personalized options to prevent foreclosure.
Use negotiation techniques to recover overdue payments and create win-win outcomes.
Present and explain available solutions such as Warranty Deeds, including associated benefits and fees.
Apply sales strategies to promote new units and assist with owner retention.
Accurately document all interactions and follow-up steps.
Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices.
Escalate complex cases to supervisors while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
Maintain positive and empathetic relationships with owners throughout the recovery process.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Previous experience in owner relations, sales, or collections preferred
Licenses/Certifications: Real Estate License
Skills & Abilities:
Strong negotiation and sales strategy skills
Clear and empathetic verbal communication
Ability to adapt communication style based on individual needs
Accurate documentation and follow-up skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
