As a Character Team Supervisor, you’ll lead our team of character performers, helping to bring joy, laughter, and memorable moments to every guest you meet. You’ll oversee daily operations, support performers, and occasionally step into character yourself to ensure the show always goes on!
As a Character Team Supervisor, you will:
Deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring every interaction reflects Westgate’s welcoming culture.
Conduct daily warm-ups and pre-shift meetings to motivate and prepare the team.
Supervise character interactions, performances, and scheduled activities for quality and consistency.
Act as a liaison between the character team and resort leadership—sharing feedback, updates, and creative ideas.
Support events, lobby greetings, and family experiences with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for both guests and performers.
Ensure costume care, cleanliness, and proper handling at all times.
Assist with scheduling, coaching, and training team members.
Step into a character role when needed to support the operation.

1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Character performing or entertainment experience (a plus but not required).
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a fun, engaging environment for guests of all ages.
Willingness to perform in a character costume weighing up to 15 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move energetically throughout the shift.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (bilingual a plus).
Knowledge of basic safety procedures and performance protocols.
- Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts
Required to pass a background check, drug test, and verify eligibility to work in the U.S.
