The Compensation Strategy Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and governance of compensation programs that support organizational goals while ensuring market competitiveness, internal equity, and legal compliance. This on‑site role in Ocoee, Florida partners closely with HR leadership, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to deliver scalable, data‑driven compensation strategies.
In this role, you will lead compensation benchmarking, salary structure design, job architecture, incentive planning, and FLSA classification analysis. You will serve as a subject‑matter expert on compensation strategy, advising leadership on pay decisions and helping ensure compensation programs are fair, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Design and manage compensation programs including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and commission plans
- Develop and maintain salary structures, pay grades, job families, and market‑aligned pay bands
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and market pricing using industry survey data
- Perform job analysis, job evaluations, and FLSA exemption determinations
- Ensure compliance with federal and state compensation laws, including FLSA and Equal Pay Act
- Partner with HR and business leaders on career pathing, succession planning, and organizational design
- Support Talent Acquisition with offer development and competitive hiring strategies
- Analyze compensation data to assess pay equity, cost impact, and workforce trends
- Maintain and govern job descriptions and job architecture frameworks
- Prepare compensation reports and present insights to leadership
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on compliance implications
- Lead special compensation projects as assigned

Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in compensation strategy, analysis, or total rewards
- Proven experience designing salary structures and compensation models
- Strong background in compensation data analysis and cost modeling
Preferred Experience
- Experience with ADP Vantage, ADP Workforce Manager, or similar HRIS platforms
- Experience using compensation survey tools (e.g., PayFactors)
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) strongly preferred
Skills & Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of compensation principles, job architecture, and pay equity
- Strong understanding of FLSA and compensation‑related compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, regression analysis)
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑consulting skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
