Job Description

Westgate Resorts is hiring a Custom Sign Maker & Installer to join our on‑site production team in Ocoee, FL. This full‑time, on‑site role works 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30‑minute lunch, no flex). This position is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of sign‑making or related experience, who enjoys hands‑on, detail‑oriented creative work in a shop environment.

In this role, you’ll prepare artwork and signage for installation, produce finished signs using laminators and production equipment, and create custom pieces such as wall murals, door signs, frosted windows, and vinyl applications. You’ll collaborate daily with design, print production, and facilities teams to ensure signage is produced accurately, safely, and on schedule across multiple Westgate properties and departments.

This position requires an artistic background, comfort working with hands‑on tools like X‑Acto knives and cutters, and the ability to work in a shop/millwork environment that may include sawdust, noise, and machinery. Candidates who are hands‑on, creative, and detail‑oriented thrive in this role. Experience with table saws, laminating machines, or picture framing is a plus—however, we will train individuals with strong artistic skill and basic hand‑tool capability.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare finished artwork and signage for installation
  • Print, laminate, prep, package, and ship signage
  • Produce and install wall murals, frosted windows, tint, door signage, and more
  • Ensure accurate finishing, framing, and lamination of all products
  • Work collaboratively with multiple teams to complete production requests
  • Fulfill other related duties as assigned by management
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • 2–3 years of experience in sign making or a related field
  • Artistic background and strong hands‑on skills
  • Proficiency using knives and cutting tools (X‑Acto, utility knives, scissors)
  • Ability to work in a busy shop environment (noise, dust, sawdust)
  • Basic MS Office experience
  • Experience with CorelDRAW a plus (not required)
  • Preferred but not required:
    • Table saw experience
    • Laminating machine or picture framing experience
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (assistance provided when needed)
    • Suitable for entry‑level or recent graduates with strong artistry and tool skills
