Westgate Resorts is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Digital Analyst Senior Manager to lead the implementation, reporting and integration of all web analytics/tracking for its suite of flagship websites using native web analytics suites/solutions (Google Analytics 4/360) and additional advertising tracking implementations, as well as backend reporting projects at a small or larger (enterprise) scale.
The Digital Analyst Senior Manager role is responsible for developing, expanding, and reporting on the digital analytics of the enterprise environment for Westgate Resorts. This role will help execute and lead digital analytics projects for websites which are part of the Westgate Resorts portfolio. They will leverage a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative methodologies along with conventional tools (some based on recommendation) to produce research reports and actionable recommendations in order to make more strategic decisions based on rate, revenue, hotel dates, lengths of stay, product (room type), seasonality, vacation package bookings, audience overlaps/optimizations, and other emergent patterns. This role will also be responsible for researching solutions to existing analytics gaps (either in technical stack, platform, or process) and for providing new insights through the consolidation of data from various platforms into a single ‘view’ of actionable data. This role will participate in platform research, data collection, report generation, and the translation of results into actionable insights that adds value. This role reports directly to the National Director of Rentals, heading up the entire marketing department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing, organizing and presenting digital analytics insights and recommendations that drive action
- Working with the team’s digital marketing tool stack, developing and delivering both regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for multiple levels of our client organizations to help drive decision-making
- Participating in workgroups as assigned (including revenue management and inventory departments), providing multi-channel analytics data and insights to inform and optimize broader marketing initiatives
- Establishing key metrics and KPIs in consultation with internal and external stakeholders
- Stay abreast on best practices and latest trends in web analytics, SEO, SEM, Paid Media, Paid Social, digital content, and campaign management
- Contributing to other analytics and insights teams, as appropriate (such as working with SEO to integrate keyword data, or working with call center to vet/implement solutions for call tracking, etc.)
- Drive the requirements definitions and provide guidance on tagging structures and tagging strategies ensuring appropriate and accurate tracking and measurement
- Ability to communicate concepts through PowerPoint presentations, whiteboard, and other deep dive visual aids (such as diving into GTM or GA to show actual backend metrics)

Experience:
- Strong analytical skills – experience collecting and analyzing data specifically on eCommerce platforms for hotels, making recommendations for improvements, changes, and new initiatives. The digital analyst must be able to analyze information at both a macro level (chain, property, destination) and a more detailed level (property, season, product/room type, rate, booking window, etc.) and make strategic recommendations
- 8-10 years of deep experience in a digital analytics role, with experience using software such as web analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 360/4), some knowledge of paid media platforms (DoubleClick, Google Ads, etc.), knowledge of paid & organic social media performance metrics (Facebook Insights/Business Manager), tag management systems (Tealium, GTM), some knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio), extensive Microsoft Office experience (particularly Excel/PowerPoint)
- Some experience with an A/B, multivariate testing and personalization tools
- Strong skills in creating effective dashboards and reporting with analysis on key metrics to both operational teams and to leadership that drives change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate must be able to present technical and non-technical information to both senior management and peers in a clear, concise manner.
- Exceptional presentation skills, including proven success with executive presentations that requires taking complex data sets, and boiling down into meaningful and understandable insights and recommendations (e.g. presenting a narrative or story versus only data points).Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making skills and the willingness to take initiative and responsibility for decisions
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at one time
- Manage stakeholder relationships, obtain input and review at key stages, make judgment calls on input, ensure continued alignment and transparency
- Excellent team player with the confidence and integrity to earn internal team member / stakeholder confidence quickly and exact influence via positive sentiment/leadership/guidance
- Education: BA/BS preferred
- Local candidates only as No Relocation compensation will be offered
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in industry-standard analytics attribution models and common issues surrounding revenue attribution
- In-depth knowledge of Google-centric suite of tracking/reporting/data-gathering tools including Google Analytics (360 preferred), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Ads, Google Search Console (GSC)
- Experience in implementing third party tracking pixels (Facebook/META, Quantcast, Reddit, Affiliate Network tracking, etc.)
- Experience in using SuperMetrics for reporting is a plus, but not required
- Looker studio / Google Data Studio experience is a plus, but not required
Travel Requirements:
- Limited travel required. Approximately 15% of time
