$70k salary and fully on-site in Ocoee, FL. Must be local to Central Florida.
Reporting to the National Director of Marketing, the Food & Beverage Marketing Manager executes digital and traditional marketing strategies for our culinary venues and food & beverage offerings, as well as supports the marketing strategies of all departments and restaurant outlets. This Marketing Manager role works closely with Restaurant Operations, Revenue Management, Culinary Teams, and Groups/Events Departments. The Food & Beverage Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Director of Marketing to execute annual food & beverage marketing plan and strategy.
As a Food & Beverage Marketing Manager you will:
- Develop and manage a Digital Roadmap for assigned restaurant portfolio ensuring all digital customer experiences are optimal for guest retention, conversion and customer acquisition.
- Manage insertions of needed new brand development projects with project management and National Director of Brand & Creative within prescribed timelines/deadlines.
- Plan and execute a global (or regional) plan for assigned food & beverage outlets and constantly refines its digital strategy.
- Clearly and effectively communicate plans and findings to senior leadership and team members.
- Create a full marketing calendar to follow action items/goals throughout the year (12 months) for all F&B outlets.
- Support the development of digital marketing strategies, communication and interpretation of results when applicable.
- Focus on meeting objectives and detailed marketing initiatives across digital brand channels for given restaurants and F&B outlets.
- Work alongside Revenue & Operations Teams to identify need periods & marketing strategies to drive traffic during soft periods.
- Demonstrate ability to recommend and collaborate with additional digital resources.
- Distribute and interpret monthly analytic reporting of all F&B marketing activities.
- Execute special offer packages/promotions and digital campaigns to drive restaurant bookings and increase average check based on demand and need periods.
- Oversee internal and external communications for F&B outlets.
- Oversee project management of creative requests including the communication of requirements, timelines, expectations and deliverables for given restaurants.
- Coordinate with F&B Operations department for menu updates, chef specials, and any seasonal promotions or changes in dining venues.
- Coordinate any property updates/requirements to ensure up-to-date media for all F&B outlets.
- Contribute content ideas and develops marketing initiatives for restaurant websites and social media channels.
- Responsible for building, editing and proofing accurate content on restaurant brand websites.
- Ensure restaurant content on digital channels is accurate and up to date, including menu updates, hours of operation, and special events.
- Organize and streamline content requests from multiple properties and stakeholders throughout the company.
- Manage and optimize restaurant profiles on reservation platforms such as OpenTable, Resy, and Tock.
- Create compelling copywriting for restaurant marketing materials, promotions, and digital campaigns.
- Implement and manage SMS marketing campaigns to drive repeat visits and special event attendance.
- Develop and execute neighborhood-focused marketing strategies to build local customer base.
- Manage direct mail campaigns targeting specific demographics and geographic areas.
- Provide presentation development support.
- Function as the first line of support for junior marketing team members.
- Serve as the SME when it comes to campaigns (signature events and other), platforms (CMS Admin / Blog), online reservation systems, and other F&B marketing tools.
- Be responsible to work with Director of Advertising to create collaborative budgets for campaigns and test new paid outlets based on performance.
- Complete other duties assigned, to include but not limited to other entities requiring food & beverage marketing support.
- College degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing. Restaurant/hospitality marketing position required
- Demonstrated experience in restaurant marketing and promotional campaign development
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and revenue strategies
- Experience with restaurant reservation systems (OpenTable, Resy, Tock, etc.)
- Knowledge of POS systems and their marketing capabilities and integration points
- Proven experience in SMS marketing campaign development and execution
- Experience in neighborhood/local marketing strategies and community engagement
- Track record of successful direct mail campaign management
- Strong copywriting skills for menu descriptions, promotional materials, and digital content
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
- Proven track record developing & implementing marketing strategies across a variety of channels with actionable goals
- Excellent cross-functional management skills and problem-solving a plus
- Experience in digital marketing for restaurants and F&B concepts
- Familiarity with all types of digital tactics and their usage (e.g. -- Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Email Marketing, Content Marketing, etc.) in order to formulate cohesive marketing plans based on the feasibility of individual use
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing various projects simultaneousl
- Prioritize and manage time in an effective and efficient manner
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be personable, well spoken, organized, diplomatic, and sincere
- Be creative -- think outside the box and produce and contribute new ideas
- Innovative mindset for developing programs to drive incremental business during soft periods
