Job Description

The Guest Relations Supervisor serves as a distinguished ambassador for the Guest Services Department and the resort, providing refined leadership to the Bell Desk, Shuttle Services, and Front Drive teams while overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional and elevated guest experience.

As the Guest Relations Supervisor, you will: 

  • Manage from the Guest Services Desk to efficiently coordinate and dispatch bell services, ensuring prompt and attentive guest support.
  • Train staff on daily duties including the Forbes arrival/departure process, loading/unloading vehicles & carts, guest communication and engagement as well as other miscellaneous tasks.
  • Responsible for overseeing shuttle and valet services, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service standards.
  • Assist with shuttle operations, luggage handling, ski or snowboard equipment, and valet services as needed.
  • Ensure all guests’ packages and luggage are stored, tracked and delivered seamlessly, quickly and accurately.
  • Coordinate the support staff and their daily responsibilities.
  • Consistently maintain an upbeat and positive attitude with guests and colleagues.
  • Ensuring the guest service & transportation desk supplies are stocked.
  • Vehicle and workplace inspections throughout the shift.
  • Keep daily logbooks of various tasks.
  • Ensure the guest arrival and departure experience exceeds Forbes Standards.
  • Assist in overseeing scheduling of staff.
  • Comfortable participating in frequent casual and professional conversations, with the ability to communicate in an upbeat and positive tone, volume, and inflection.
  • Interact with departments and assist in solving situations.
  • Use problem solving and decision-making skills to act in the best interest of the department and company.
  • Assist leadership in hiring, advising, coaching, and managing disciplinary actions and terminations for team members.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record for motor vehicle record check.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Requires physical stamina and the ability to work indoors and outdoors, remain on your feet for extended periods, climb stairs, and move quickly for short distances as needed.
