The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Human Resources Department, including employee relations, regulatory compliance, and the consistent implementation of company policies and procedures. This role serves as a business partner to leadership and a resource to Team Members, ensuring HR practices support organizational goals and promote a positive workplace culture.
What Will Do:
- Interpret company policies and procedures and provides HR guidance to leaders and Team Members to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to HR Team Members.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with Leave Administration to manage Team Member leaves of absence, ADA accommodations, and related processes.
- Support Team Members and leaders throughout the workers’ compensation process by coordinating accommodations and effectively facilitating the return-to-work transition.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Team Member records in accordance with company and legal requirements.
- Partner with department leaders to implement companywide and local Team Member engagement initiatives that support Team Member engagement and retention.
- Manage and resolves employee relations matters, including conducting thorough and objective investigations.
- Advises leaders on performance management strategies and practices.
- Partner with leaders to support the annual performance evaluation process.
- Consult with leaders on organizational or departmental changes that impact Team Members.
- Assist with the Team Member engagement survey by coordinating administration, encouraging participation, and supporting leaders in reviewing results and developing action plans.
- Stay current on HR trends, best practices, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in talent and workforce management.
- Coordinate and delivers leadership training on topics such as interviewing, hiring, disciplinary action, performance management, and harassment prevention.
- Represent the organization in unemployment hearings and proceedings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- May require travel to resort locations, sales centers, or other company locations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning and directing work; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

What You Will Bring:
- Hospitality experience
- Experience in disciplinary actions and terminations
- FMLA/ADA experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS applications; ADP a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide practical solutions.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and information with discretion and professionalism.
- 5 – 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR, preferred
