Pay rate:  $15.50/hour

Duration:  12 weeks

Location:  Housing not provided - candidates must live within commutable distance to Ocoee, FL

The Quality Assurance / Software Test Intern works as a supporting member of the QA Team and works with the QA Manager and Project Test Leads. This person will learn from and help the lead testers on the applications and integrations for their assigned projects. 

As an IT QA Intern, you will: 

• Review business / software requirements and provide input as needed
• Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data as needed
• Build project documentation for QA
• Execute manual test cases and be involved in exploratory testing
• Report defects and assist in their understanding
• Identify overall quality issues that could affect the applications under test
• Create end of sprint presentations or demos

• Knowledge of Test Management tools such as TestRail, Qase, qTest, PractiTest, Zephyr, etc.
• Knowledge of defect tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Monday, Mantis
• Knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, etc.
• Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language

Education & Certifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field

Skills/Knowledge

• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment 
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or Tableau is a bonus
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas in a group setting
• Knowledge of the difference between business and functional requirements and able to provide input
• Knowledge of functional testing processes
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles and associated test techniques
