Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The Player’s Club manager is responsible for supervising the WOW Casino Rewards Desk and leading the team responsible for growing a customer database through new enrollment; as well as managing customer requests and resolving guest issues.  The manager will oversee the development, coordination and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as assist and aid in the improvement of the operations and functions within the department. The Player’s Club Manager is responsible for promoting and retaining a highly skilled work force within the department as well as fostering a culture of excitement, efficiency, and exceptional customer service to ensure optimum guest satisfaction and repeat visits.  Will also be responsible for other marketing initiatives as required.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING)

The ideal candidate can think strategically, is action-oriented, and an effective leader providing direction and support when needed. The WOW Casino Rewards Manager will maintain a strong, productive, and communicative relationship with lead contacts within the property. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization is essential. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Westgate policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Responsible for scheduling, hiring, training, development, motivation, and supervision of Player’s Club. Recommend wage increases, promotions, evaluation ratings and other employment actions for team members.
  • Ensures all direct reports have the knowledge and necessary resources to perform their duties effectively, including written standard operating procedures, pre-shifting, maintaining a clean and organized workspace that includes up-to-date marketing collateral, and functioning computer stations.
  • Oversees the administration of promotions and casino offers, including assisting in the development & implementation of procedures and guidelines.
  • Responsible for managing & ordering workspace supplies as well as player’s club materials & inventory.
  • Manages the casino offer & promotions segments of the slot marketing system to ensure maximum efficiency at the WOW Player’s Club.
  • Assists in establishing departmental objectives and business plans for player’s club and its promotions including budgeting, staffing and goal setting.
  • Complies with Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino standards, guidelines, and objectives and maintains administrative processes to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of department functions.

Qualifications

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES)

  • Strong management skills
  • Public relations skills preferred.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the casino player management system.
  • Knowledge of, and experience in creating, developing, and/or implementing casino promotions & offers for casino customer required.
  • Ability to promote and execute all phases of planning with all involved departments.

Additional Information

EXPERIENCE  REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years minimum customer service background required.
  • 2 years minimum casino experience required.
  • 2 years minimum casino players club/loyalty programming preferred.

Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
