The Project Manager - Program Management Office (PMO) will report into the Vice President, Strategic Planning & Development and will lead the PMO function to support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives focused on strategic spend optimization and operational efficiency. The Project Manager will successfully partner with finance, operations, and technology departments to evaluate project ideas, track progress, and make sure projects support the company’s goals. Individual will bring a deep understanding and direct experience in building or evolving PMOs, capital investment analysis, and project execution in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Project Manager - Program Management Office (PMO) will have proven experience in project management methodologies to include:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- PMO Establishment & Governance
- Implement standardized project management methodologies, tools, and templates including resource forecasting and utilization.
- Establish portfolio governance processes, including intake, prioritization, and approval mechanisms.
- Define KPIs and reporting frameworks for program success tracking.
- Capital Investment Planning
- Operationalize a process for evaluating capital investment needs across departments.
- Collaborate with FP&A and business leaders to assess ROI, risk, and strategic fit of investment proposals.
- Drive transparency and accountability in the capital investment lifecycle.
- Portfolio & Project Oversight
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of initiatives across technology, finance, and operations.
- Ensure business cases are developed, maintained, and monitored for performance and ROI realization.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to executive leadership on portfolio health.
- Maintain a centralized repository where project plans, templates, lessons learned and best practices are stored and made easily accessible to stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a strategic partner to Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure alignment of project outcomes with business goals.
- Facilitate change management and communication efforts to support transformation initiatives.
- Mentor and guide business analysts assigned to the PMO.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for process improvement and champion best practices in project delivery.
- Leverage data and lessons learned to enhance future project execution and investment planning.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or PMP certification preferred.
- 7+ years’ experience in program/project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of establishing or maturing PMOs in mid-to-large sized organizations.
- Strong financial acumen, especially in capital budgeting and investment analysis.
- Experience managing portfolios involving technology transformation, FP&A tools, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Project management tools e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira etc.
- Timeshare/Hotel Industry experience preferred.
