As part of the Westgate Flamingo Bay Resort team, you will help provide guests a home away from home at our amazing resort that features complimentary scheduled shuttle service to the Las Vegas Strip and Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
Directly supervise Deli cashiers or Mini-market cashiers, its depend of the area assigned. Responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of these units.
As a Retail Supervisor, you will:
- Assists in maintaining par level inventories consistent with department guidelines.
- Assists in ordering and scheduling deliveries of Food, Beverages, Groceries, Sundries/Gifts items and Supplies from approved vendors within company purchasing procedures.
- Stocking and rotating inventory.
- Assists in coordinating team members tasks and cover any position or shift if the volume of the business required it.
- Assists in training coaching and counseling staff regards to compliances defined in Guest Service quality standards and meal preparation recipes.
- Assists in ensuring adherence to product receiving procedures consistent with department policies.
- Assists in ensuring the proper quality and control of Food, Beverage, Groceries, Sundries/Gift items and other Supplies to include accurate information about cost controls, quality control, inventory accuracy's and rotating stock.
- Assist in ensuring areas is adhering to all company cash handling procedures.
- Provides accurate information or documentation to discipline individual staff in accordance to company guidelines.
- Assists in authorizing discounted/complimentary guest relation checks within departments guidelines.
- Assist in training new team members and assist on/going training programs.
- Assists in providing detailed training to all staff specific to compliance responsibilities to State Health Regulation.
- Participate in company monthly goals & measurements program.
- Respect operating procedural manuals to include: service standards, cash handling procedures, menu item preparation, product specification, safety and security procedures, purchasing, ordering/receiving, stocking, requisitioning procedures and internal audit policies.
- Assist in responding to guest inquiries, complaints in a professional and urgent manner.
- Assists in auditing guest checks, documenting irregularities, cash control violations.
- Assists in observing use cash registers to ensure proper programming and use.
- Perform accurate opening/running/closing outlet procedures and maintain current checklist.
- Perform daily production planning.
- Documents staff call-in/tardiness.
- Assist in implementing department action plans as directed.
- Enforces staff, company and department grooming policies.
- Attends and participates in required department meetings.
- Assist in informing individual staff customer service quality levels daily.
- Enforces team members/guest interactive salutations.
- Support/embraces company service philosophy and standards.
- Present results and reports about all tasks, informs or projects assigned.
- Follow the clock in/out procedures.
- Attend mandatory training/information meetings.
- Maintain clean and organize all areas.

- Food Handlers Certification
- Must successfully attend company mandatory training programs.
- Alcohol awareness training
