General Summary of Duties
The Security Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the hiring process of security officers, bike officers, field training officers, and preliminary investigators, shift supervisors and shift managers. This role includes completing all the necessary paperwork for new recruits and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Responsible for providing oversight of all security reports, and being the point of contact, and being responsible for ordering of supplies.
Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)
- Hire and onboard security personnel, including Full time/Part time security officers, bike officers, pool officers, field training officers, preliminary investigators, shift supervisors, and shift managers.
- Scheduling shift staff, days off, processing and assist in management coverage for shifts (when necessary).
- Responsible for overseeing and approving security reports in ITrak & Origami.
- Complete all required paperwork for new hires.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with local fire and police departments and other government entities.
- Multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Lead and mentor a team of security personnel.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
- Facilitate the ordering of all supplies for the Security Department.
- Other duties as directed by the Security Director or his/her designee.

Experience Requirements
- Ability to build strong working relationships with local fire and police departments and other government entities.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of and compliance with Federal and State OSHA regulations.
- Working knowledge of safety practices, including first aid and all applicable safety standards for public facilities.
- Working knowledge and basic understanding of local, state, federal and gaming laws. •
- Advanced knowledge in the area of investigations.
- CPR / AED / First Aid certified.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to lead and mentor a team.
- Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or successful completion of a GED certificate.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Preferred experience and in-depth comprehensive knowledge in security, investigation, loss prevention, safety awareness and risk management.
Desirables
- Advanced computer skills with working knowledge in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, AED and First Aid certification.
- Preferred five (3) years of experience in casino security or law enforcement field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven management experience.
- Must maintain a valid Gaming Work Card, Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM) and Nevada Driver License throughout employment.
- Must have a Concealed Carry Permit or be able to obtain one within 6 months from date of hire.
- Must be able and willing to carry a firearm.
