Job Description

The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering high-impact learning experiences and supporting the end-to-end learning cycle—including facilitation, content refinement, and training needs analysis—for team members across the organization. This role supports all business units and partners closely with stakeholders to identify performance gaps and deliver targeted learning solutions that align with company goals.

As a Training Specialist you will:

  • Facilitate engaging, learner-centered training programs (ILT, virtual, and blended formats) across business units.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers to enhance training content based on learner feedback and operational needs.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis using data, stakeholder input, and operational KPIs to inform training plans.
  • Maintain training records, track learner progress, and provide follow-up coaching or reinforcement as needed.
  • Support onboarding programs, including refinement of content and facilitation strategy.
  • Measure training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and business impact metrics (e.g., performance data, guest satisfaction, error rates).
  • Contribute to the development of learning resources (e.g., guides, job aids, microlearnings) as needed.
  • Work hours may vary to include weekends and evenings as directed. Travel may still vary depending on business unit support up to 50%.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Hospitality Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and training best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and customer relation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of training measurements/metrics, including the Kirkpatrick Four-Level Training
  • Evaluation Model experience
  • Proficient in time management, organization, planning, and prioritization
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook
  • 2+ years of proven experience in learning delivery or facilitation using a variety of learning methods
  • Experience with content creation or needs analysis preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or similar, preferred
