Join Our Team as a Housekeeper at VI Resorts by Westgate!
Are you passionate about creating clean, welcoming spaces that make guests feel right at home? We are looking for dedicated Housekeepers to join our resort operations team at VI Resorts by Westgate. In this key role, you will help deliver unforgettable experiences by maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public spaces. At VI Resorts, every detail matters, and our housekeeping team is at the heart of it all.
As a Housekeeper, you will:
- Clean guest rooms and public areas, including lanais, floors, windows, furniture, and bathrooms.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, make beds, and restock guest supplies to resort standards.
- Sanitize kitchens, including appliances, surfaces, and refrigerators, following resort guidelines.
- Handle inventory checks, report maintenance issues, and return lost and found items.
- Use proper equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
- Communicate and respond to guest needs promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily housekeeping goals.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
- Previous experience in housekeeping or the hospitality industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Able to work independently and manage time with minimal supervision
- Exercises good judgment when interacting with guests, owners, and team members
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form
- Basic math skills and ability to manage inventory and supplies
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
- Required to lift 10–25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Occasionally required to push/pull up to 40 pounds
