We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator in Las Vegas to support our Human Resources operations by delivering exceptional customer service to both internal team members and external candidates. This full-time, on-site HR role in Vegas is hiring immediately and plays a critical role in managing the employee onboarding lifecycle, HR administrative processes, and compliance documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure a seamless hiring experience by coordinating new hire processing, conducting background checks, and maintaining accurate employee records in HR systems such as Kronos and Image Quest.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Review and process employment applications (paper and online) daily; route qualified candidates to TMS/HR Generalists
- Support full-cycle employee onboarding, including background checks, E-Verify, drug screening, and onboarding paperwork
- Perform timekeeping functions using Kronos for assigned departments
- Conduct employment reference checks and verify rehire eligibility
- Serve as primary HR customer service contact for walk-ins, candidates, and team members
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and ensure completion of required documentation
- Process employee updates including name changes, direct deposit, benefits enrollment, and lifestyle changes
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations by auditing and managing Form I-9 documentation
- Manage personnel file transfers for team members moving between locations
- Scan and upload documents into Image Quest, ensuring accurate and timely recordkeeping
- Ensure same-day scanning and documentation processing
- Prepare materials for job fairs and recruiting events
- Administer pre-employment skills testing
- Process and code employment-related invoices for approval
- Coordinate conference room scheduling, vendor visits, and internal postings (including closed-circuit TV communications)
- Maintain inventory of HR forms and supplies
- Assist with special projects and HR administrative tasks as assigned
- Experience: 3–6 months of HR, administrative, customer service, or onboarding support experience preferred
- Education: Certificate from a college/technical school OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with HRIS systems (Kronos preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Experience with document management systems such as Image Quest preferred
