Job Description

We are seeking a Barista in Orlando, FL to prepare high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages while delivering fast, friendly, and exceptional customer service. This Barista role is now hiring and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a guest‑facing café environment and enjoy creating memorable experiences for customers. As a key member of the Food & Beverage team, you will prepare beverages using established recipes, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and follow all sanitation and safety guidelines.

  • Provide fast, friendly, and personalized service to all customers.
  • Receive and call back customer orders clearly and accurately.
  • Educate customers on coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and café offerings.
  • Answer phone calls courteously, including directions, orders, and inquiries.
  • Perform accurate cash handling and operate the register properly.
  • Prepare and serve hot, blended, and iced beverages following recipes and standards.
  • Serve baked goods and other café items as needed.
  • Answer product questions and maintain knowledge of blends, flavors, and freshness.
  • Resolve minor customer concerns; escalate larger issues to management.
  • Restock retail and café items as needed to maintain inventory flow.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized bar area and workspace.
  • Take out trash according to policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service, barista, or related food-handling experience.

Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Food Handlers Certification required within 30 days of hire and must remain current.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver attentive guest service.
  • Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of handling guest concerns professionally and proactively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
