What You Will Do as the Housekeeping Runner:

You will provide essential support to the housekeeping department by ensuring timely delivery and retrieval of guest amenities, supplies, and equipment. This role responds promptly to service requests through HotSOS, maintains organized and well‑stocked storage areas, and assists with guest room needs such as linen delivery and bed‑making. The Runner also ensures proper handling of lost and found items, equipment, and keys while upholding safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are key to success in this role. You will demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members.

  • Log into HotSOS on assigned devices to receive and respond to service orders for the assigned area.
  • Pull service orders into “MyWork” immediately and maintain Service Level Agreements: 30 minutes for guest requests and 60 minutes for internal requests.
  • Demonstrate customer‑centric service behaviors at all times, responding professionally and promptly to guest and owner requests or concerns.
  • Deliver linens, cribs, highchairs, toilet risers, and shower benches, and offer to make beds when requested.
  • Pick up used items and return them to operations for sanitation.
  • Maintain housekeeping storage closets and equipment areas in a clean, organized, and well‑stocked condition.
  • Ensure the proper use, security, and return of equipment and keys, including golf carts, devices, and hand trucks.
  • Immediately report any damaged items to the supervisor or through HotSOS service orders.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures.
  • Assist other departments or areas as needed.
  • Participate in training and assist fellow team members in their area as needed.
  • Complete projects or tasks as directed by management.
  • Represent Westgate Resorts professionally at all times through appearance, dress, and behavior.
  • Promote Westgate Resorts’ philosophies and values to both team members and guests.

What You Will Bring:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs, for up to eight (8) hours.
  • Ensures cleanliness, organization, and proper inventory levels.
  • Clear and professional communication with guests and team members.
  • Willingness to assist other departments and support team training.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices for service orders and reporting.
  • Maintains a polished appearance and respectful demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to report issues and take initiative in resolving guest concerns.
